This sweet and unique mid-century (likely 1950s) necklace is sure to inspire conversation. A ceramic jug painted with pink roses hangs between to tube-shaped beads, painted with matching roses. The necklace has a charming cottage / shabby chic vibe. It is not signed, but the beads are very like others I have seen made in Japan during the 1950s. The chain is a gold-tone box style with a spring-ring clasp.
Measurements: When clasped, the chain + beads is 7-1/4 to top of jug. The jug is about 1-1/8 inches tall. The tube-shaped beads are 1-3/4 inches long.
Condition: Very good. One rose on the jug has a bit of pink worn away. Small spot of tarnish on chain about one inch from clasp, shown in 7th photo.
*** Will come to you in a nice box tied with a ribbon. Suitable for gifting. ***
